Abrakadoodle has for more than a decade reached over one-million children with its creative art education programs thanks in large part to our uniquely fabulous franchisee partners, who deliver our high quality art programming to kids in communities throughout the United States and in growing international locations.

Our franchise system recently had the pleasure of celebrating a very special moment with one of our franchise owners.  Sue Walia, who celebrated 10 years at the helm of Abrakadoodle-Northern Virginia this year, has chosen to renew her contract for another decade.  In true Abrakadoodle fashion, we wanted to give the signing of her new franchise contract a creative twist – so we had Sue execute her new contract with a thumbprint using her unique franchise color “Purple Heart.”

Each of our franchise owners brings extraordinary talents to our system.  Sue has raised her three children (now 12, 14 and 15) along with her successful Abrakadoodle-Northern Virginia franchise, where she has been recognized for outstanding performance every year from 2007 through 2014.  Sue is a natural born relationship-builder!  Her ability to develop a capable instructional team in addition to her superior networking skills has certainly contributed to her success. Among her many awards for performance and service excellence, Sue was also recognized by her peers with the 2014 Mentor Award.

Sue has worked hard!  And likes to have fun too – even if it means renewing her 10-year franchise agreement with a Purple Heart thumbprint!
