This Franchise Friday we celebrate Yolanda Smith (top photo), of Ashburn, VA. Yolanda has owned and operated Abrakadoodle of Loudoun County since January of this year, following a career as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager in a real estate investment company. Launching a children’s art education business made a lot of sense to Yolanda, who said of the investment, “I love the business model, and I believe in the concept. Abrakadoodle also offers rewards beyond money.” Since opening, Yolanda has established a variety of programs at local Elementary Schools, Preschools, Park and Rec Facilities and Community Centers. Her students enjoy remarkable art education in the form of after-school enrichment classes, in-school field trips, summer camps and birthday parties thanks to the strong team of talented teachers Yolanda’s assembled over the course of her first year. When she’s not growing her Abrakadoodle business, Yolanda enjoys jewelry making, crafting unique art pieces from recycled materials and spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their two children. Here’s to your continued growth and success, Yolanda!
