Abrakadoodle Celebrates Panamanian Culture at Event

Art for kids is not only rewarding and fun, but it also helps children to learn about cultures and celebrate what is unique about themselves and countries around the world. In its inaugural NWA Hispanic Heritage Festival & Health Fair held during the last weekend of September at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Panama was the featured country in a celebration that included cultural displays, food, music and art. Joy and Cora Davis, mother-daughter co-owners of Abrakadoodle-Northwest Arkansas, delighted kids from the local community with a Golden Frog DoodleCraft®. The golden frog is a rare species that is unique to Panama. Abrakadoodle art classes inspire kids to be creative while they learn about artists, art styles and techniques, as well as world cultures. President Martinelli of Panama, a graduate of theUniversity of Arkansas, visited Abrakadoodle’s booth to admire the creative art in honor of his country.
