Abrakadoodle Parties are easy for parents, FUN for kids and include:

• All art materials, as well as lesson set up and clean up
• Art aprons for each child to wear during the party

Arty Parties at Your Location

• If you would like to host the party in your home, country club, community room, recreation building, etc, you will need to provide table space and a chair (or floor space) for each child.  We use only safe, non-toxic and washable art products, but for ease of cleanup we recommend using a non-carpeted space.  If the area is carpeted, let us know and we can bring draping to protect the carpet.  If you select a wet project, please have an area where the project can dry without being disturbed.
• We recommend scheduling the art activity early in the party.  This allows time for the art projects to dry before guests depart. If you are adding face painting, this will be done after the art activity while your guests enjoy cake, ice cream, etc. 
• Total Time = 1 hour for the art project (not including set up/clean up time)

Basic Pricing

At your home or a location you reserve/choose:  $175.00 for up to 10 children.

Additional children (after 10): $12 per additional child.  This includes a choice of special gift for the birthday child and goody paint can for the other children.

Guests create a unique and colorful handprint design on stretched canvas; a unique and creative for the birthday child.  A truly memorable gift you and your child will treasure for years to come!

For Children 2 Years and Up!

Polar Bear Plunge

Did you know that polar bears can walk on ice that humans would fall through?  In this fun lesson we’ll use modeling clay to sculpt polar bears!  This is a fun lesson where we roll, pound and squeeze while sculpting a polar bear face.  Kids get to have fun mixing colors together while building motor skills.  This lesson can easily be adapted to fit other themes such as Mickey Mouse, It’s a Big, Big World, and more.  Great choice if space is an issue or you’d like a non-messy project.

Fishy Mobile

This mobile lesson is fun for all ages as we learn to create our own fish mobile like Alexander Calder.  This lesson can be easily adapted to fit other themes such as Dora (we’ll make Boots, Dora’s pet monkey), Curious George, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, and more.  This is a great lesson for parties where guests (and moms) would like to stay clean and have fun.

Rainbow Hands

Create a unique keepsake of each child’s handprints as we learn about the many colors of the world. This is ideal for parties where the parents plan to stay and participate. 

A Journey to the Stars! Blast off on an adventure to the stars as children create a Starry Night scene using watercolors like a pint-sized Vincent van Gogh.

For Children 4 Years and Up!

Meow Meow

Calling all cat lovers!  In this amazingly cool lesson, we’ll paint crazy and colorful cat pictures as we learn about Lauren Burch. We’ll draw a cat using cat templates then fill in with paint using wild colors and fun patterns.  What an impressive keepsake to be treasured forever. 

Water, Water, Everywhere

If your child loves nature, then this is the project for you! We’ll create beautiful paintings of whales, dolphins and other creatures using bubble wrap, saran wrap and more as we learn about special 3D painting effects! 

Dob A Dob of Fun

This lesson is a guaranteed hit!  We’ll use bingo bottles and stencils to create unique dot paintings like Georges Suerat. This is a great lesson if you want your child to paint, but don’t want it to be messy. Boys and girls of all ages love this project!

For Children 7 Years and Up!

Superhero, Anyone?

We are now offering the coolest birthday party activity in town! During this wild and wacky art project, each child learns how to draw him or herself as their favorite comic book or superhero character.  Guaranteed to be a BLAST!

Dreams Do Come True!

In our dreams we can be princes or princesses, aliens or superheroes.  We can even fly!  In this creative and imaginative art project we combine oil pastels and digital photography to make your child’s dreams come true.

I wanna grow up!

In this fun filled lesson we’ll use oil pastels to create a self portrait of ourselves either now or in the future.  This project is sure to create a keepsake you’ll treasure forever.

Flower Power!

Paint your own puzzle like Renoir and O’Keefe or create a fun flower picture using tissue paper while learning about Monet. We’ll talk about color, scale, texture and creativity while using live flowers as models.

Deposits, Cancellations and Damages

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due to hold your reservation.   Balance due is payable at the party.  We accept personal checks and cash.  Abrakadoodle uses only safe, non-toxic, washable Crayola products and provides drop cloths to protect furniture when the party is being held in your home. While we take care to perform reasonable clean up after each party, we cannot be held responsible for any damage done to clothing, furniture, carpeting, drapes, or other household items if the party is held in your home.

Q:  How do I know if the day/time I’m interested in is available?

Q:  What if I don’t see a lesson idea I like or I’m not sure which lesson I want?

A: If you need lesson ideas, just give us a call at 216-321-0909 or email KBaris@abrakadoodle.com .  We have over 1800 lessons so we’re sure to find a lesson you, your child and guests will love.  If you want to book your party, but haven’t picked a lesson yet, just write TBD on your party reservation form. We can write the lesson in later.

Q:  Will the art project be messy?

A: It depends on the project you choose.  While we do bring an apron for each child to wear, we recommend you include a line in your invitation which says, “Please dress your child in play clothes as we’ll be doing art projects.”

Q:  Do I need to tip my birthday party teacher/s?

A: That’s up to you! If you feel your birthday party teacher went above and beyond to make your child’s party a success, you’re welcome to give her/him a tip.

Q:  What happens if a child misbehaves during a party?

A:  We are here to deliver a great birthday party for your child and guests.  Therefore, inappropriate behavior such as hitting, throwing things, painting on other children or swearing is not tolerated as it ruins the party for everyone. If a child is making a bad behavior choice, we’ll give that child a verbal warning. After the first verbal warning we will ask the child’s parent or the birthday parent to intervene if the child continues to misbehave.   If the child continues to misbehave, we will ask the child to take a timeout. Once the child has calmed down, he or she is welcome to rejoin the party.

• Confirm a date, time, location and number of expected guests with Abrakadoodle by returning the below party reservation form and agreement
• Choose a lesson to match your party theme or your child’s favorite activity! Suggested lessons are included above.  Call us at 216-321-0909 if you need more ideas!
• Provide Abrakadoodle with a final guest count 3 business days before the party.  This final guest count will be used to determine your final bill.  If more children attend the birthday party, the guest count will be changed accordingly. If fewer children attend, you will be charged your final guarantee.
