Abrakadoodle Summer Camps Are Coming Soon … to some unusual locations

Abrakadoodle-Austin, Texas will be launching a three-year summer camp program with the Umlauf Sculpture Garden. This summer will feature Abrakadoodle’s Garden Art Safari camp, which will be customized to include mini tours of the sculptures and museum grounds to inspire the campers. According to Geraldine Smythe, Director of Abrakadoodle-Austin, “Charles Umlauf did lots of bronzes that kids will find fun like wild boars and angels. It’s going to be a great time!”

Abrakadoodle will present a two-part sculpture camp, as well as six other themes that will also be run in other sites around the city throughout 2011. Smythe comments, “It is the beginning of what I think will prove to be a very hands-on, memorable experience for thousands of kids in the area who want to have a great time and learn something fun during their summer break at an iconic, centrally located garden-type museum!”
